This past Friday, the girls and boys track and field teams competed against 13 other schools at the Trotwood Invitational track meet.

The girls and boys team both had a strong showing and finished in 2nd place! First place finishers by the girls included the 4X100 meter team consisting of DeShawna Hogue, Serenity Foster, Ta'ziah Gladden, and Iyanna Thompson-Carson. Avia Pittman finished 1st in the high jump.

Top performances by the boys included a 2nd place finish and personal best time by the boys 4X800 team consisting of Michael Towle, Vinny Jensvold, Nicky Jensvold, and Derrick Duckworth. In addition, Brandon Foster broke his own personal best time in the boys 400 meter dash.

Both teams will be in action again on Thursday at Little Miami.
